Popular Trucks for 2020

Truck enthusiasts will find a whole collection that will be hitting the market soon. Auto manufacturers have spent an entire year getting new trucks ready for sale. The competition is going to be tough. Not all trucks may receive a grand welcome but here are a few that will certainly be on top of the list in 2020:

Ford F-150
It has the same features as last year but will be available with Power Stroke turbodiesel v6 of XLT trims. It also has driver assistance technologies, which are referred to as co-pilot 360 and will be standard equipment. A sports package can also be added to Base XL model trucks. It has three-color options for XLT models and Lariat, which includes Star white Metallic Tricoat, Iconic Silver, Rapid Red Tinted clear-coat.

Ford F-250
This Ford has great hauling capacity from 12,000lbs to 15,000lbs. There is a choice of engines 6.2L V8, 6.7L V8 Diesel, and/or 7.3L V8 with 385 horsepower to 475 and torque range from 430lb ft to 1050lb ft. They have various body styles, crew, super, and regular cabs.

Ford F-450
This Ford will be available in 6 trims and 15 configurations of 4×2 or 4×4 versions. The cab has an 8ft box that seats two or three members while the crew cab can seat 5 to 6. Each is available with a 6.7L V8 diesel-powered engine with 475 horsepower that has 10-speed automatic transmission w/OD, auto manual and 8 exterior colors.

Ranger
It will be found in 3 trims and 13 configurations with 4×4 or 4×2 versions. The models have engines that are 2.7L I-4 regular gas with 270 horsepower with 10-speed automatic transmission w/OD, auto manual, fuel efficiency at 18mpg. They are giving 5 color choices and Supercab/ Super crew that seats 4 to 5 and gives 23 mpg.

GMC Canyon
It comes in seven trims with 20 possible configurations. Each different version is powered by a 2.5L I-4 gasoline engine that is 200 horsepower. It is mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission with OD. You can choose from 4×2 or 4×4 with eight exterior colors and an average of 19 to 23 mpg.

Atlas Tanoak
This truck which made its debut in New York created by a German automaker has patterned it on its SUV. Tanoak will have a 276 horsepower with a 3.6L V6 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. It is futuristic and has LED tail lights, headlights, and a rugged exterior.

Bollinger B2
This is an electric truck and will travel 200 miles on a full charge. It has a level 2 charger and 10 hours for a full charge. It has a boxy design although designated as a Class 3 work truck and is bigger than the large truck. To be released in 2020.

Rivian R1T
This top truck is going to be released in late 2020. It is a new model of the company, Rivian. The electric truck made its debut in the Los Angeles auto show. They claim it will travel 400 miles at full charge and will travel in three feet water at full speed. It has three different batteries and a quad motor in AWD edition. It will do 0 to 60 in 3 seconds and has three autonomous functions that have five-star ratings from NHTSA.
