2020’s Range of Electric and Hybrid Cars

2020’s Range of Electric and Hybrid Cars

The electrical vehicles just make up two percent of the market share. Tesla is competing with SUVs from Nissan, Kia, Hyundai, Honda, and Chevrolet. There are over 40 plug-in electric car models available for sale in the country. A few more will be introduced in 2020.

The traditional automakers are giving up making sedans and are manufacturing SUVs, minivan, pickup van, trucks, etc.

Electric vehicles sale has doubled from last year but is still less in comparison to petrol and diesel competitors. New models are being launched as charging stations are being built as the basic infrastructure offered to buyers. The biggest hurdle to buying such cars is their high price. Having said that, federal tax is offering subsidies for few models.
